Paul Bergrin Transfer to ADX Florence

This short post is about exactly what the title says. Paul Bergrin is being or has been transferred to ADX Florence, the Supermax in Colorado. I admit to being stunned. I have been busy with life - some day I will tell you about it on my other blog - and then there was the hurricane mess as I live on an island off the East coast of Florida.

This document was entered by the clerk's office on September 28, 2016, and it is a handwritten motion to Judge Jose Linares. No attorney has been able to update me on Paul Bergrin's status at the CMU after he was placed under Special Administrative Measures (SAMs) there at the time of my last post and when he went incommunicado. I just logged into PACER tonight and retrieved this document.

The Bureau of Prisons inmate locator shows Paul Bergrin to be still in Terre Haute, Indiana at the CMU, but in this case I have zero faith that the locator has been updated. Paul Was notified in late August that he was now designated to the Supermax in Florence, Colorado.

Bergrin Motion for Relief September 28 2016

I'm just horrified. Need to do some research and will post again in the near future. ADX Florence is known to be worse than Guantanamo Bay camps. Seriously. WTH.

UPDATE on November 2, 2016 @11:50AM:

As of today, November 2, 2016, Paul Bergrin is now in Florence, Colorado ADMAX, also known as the Supermax. This morning he showed as at this facility in the BOP inmate locator: Inmate Locator

So, Paul is now in the worst of all hellhole facilities that the US has created; worse than Guantanamo Bay camps. Considering that Paul Bergrin is about as scary as a kitty-kat and the entire prosecution was a major overkill engineered by those with an axe to grind and plenty to hide, I see that the government can get away with absolutely anything. History will absolve Paul Bergrin!

For more information on ADX Florence, read the Wikipedia entry, and update with Paul Bergrin's name if you are into updating on Wikipedia: ADX Florence

Greetings Little Sis: my name is Razakhan Wali I'm with Nation Time Judicial Research Inc. I've been following Paul for a while, and as a lawyer he is one of my heroes. I will send him a letter to see if there is anything I can do to help. Two individuals that I was communicating with Jeff Fort and Larry Hoover, their letters were returned saying I was not authorized to communicate with them. This came after I had been communicating with them for years, doing legal research, because I am a Paralegal. I am in the process of filling against the BOP for their refusal to allow me to correspond with them. If they refuse to allow me to contact Paul, I'll let you know.

Vicky Gallas said...

Oh they will definitely refuse any letters you send to Paul Bergrin. You could take that to the bank. See my last post on this blog - Paul was placed under SAMs back in August. You could file suits all day, but Paul's attorneys are not even allowed contact at this point.

Will our new President ever realize the corruption within our justice system and
within the BOP. This is a major political issue and challenge to take in consideration
just a few days before electing a new President. This will require strong actions and
decisions on behalf of a new government that must not let these injustices continue.
WE MUST AND WE ARE OBLIGED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, too many sufferings for innocent
prisoners that are not entitled to fair trials while others fill up their pockets,
stay blinded and don't have the guts to stand up by selfishness and hypocrisy.
YES PAUL BERGRIN IS A VERY HONEST MAN THAT DOES NOT DESERVE WHAT HE IS ENDURING.
PEOPLE, MAKE JUSTICE PREVAIL ALWAYS.

FLORENCE ADMAX SMH you freaking got to be kidding me that's were they housed tyler bingham, zacarias moussaoui, timothy mcveiah and it's the worst of em all, i pray for paul and this is BS AS HELL.

Anonymous said...

and they wont go after the 911 perps but came after paul for nothing, now going to punish him more by sending him ro that hell hole.

Anonymous said...

THERE ARE NO REASON WHY PAUL BERGRIN SHOULD BE UNDER A SAMS, NO REASON WHY HE SHOULD
BE SENT TO FLORENCE ADMAX SMH, HE RESPECTED ALL THE RULES SINCE HE HAS BEEN IN
CMU TERRE HAUTE. HE HAS THE RIGHT TO A LEGAL RETRIAL AND ALL THAT IT INCLUDES.
IT IS ANOTHER ONE OF THEIR GAMES FOR HIM TO DIE IN PRISON SO THAT THE TRUTH NEVER
PREVAILS AND THAT THOSE WHO DESERVE PUNISHMENT NEVER BE PUNISHED AND THEIR NAMES
HIDDEN TO THE CITIZENS OF OUR COUNTRY. I HOPE THAT JUDGE LINARES HAS A FUTUR PERCEPTION OF WHERE THIS CASE WILL BRING OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM CONSIDERING THAT PAUL
IS NOT IGNORANT OF HIS RIGHTS AND FAR FROM BEING STUPID. PAUL IS AN EXCELLENT LAWYER
GIFTED AND WITH HIGH SKILLS BUT MOST OF ALL AS MENTIONNED IN PREVIOUS COMMENTS
PAUL IS HONEST AND LOYAL. HE IS AN EXAMPLE FOR OUR YOUTH BECAUSE HE HAS ALWAYS
BELIEVED AND DEFENDED THE JUSTICE SYSTEM OF OUR COUNTRY.
WHY PUT INNOCENT PERSONS IN PRISON TO COVER UP POLITICAL MISTAKES AND THEN 40 YEARS
AFTER DECLARE THAT THEY ARE INNOCENT. THIS DOES COST A LOT TO TAX PAYERS FOR NO
REASON, WHY NOT DO THINGS RIGHT FROM THE START, WHO CAN ANSWER THIS, THANK YOU.

Closed courtroom in Newark Federal Court on Monday had absolutely nothing to do with Paul Bergrin's case.

Vicky Gallas said...

I agree and figure it was probably related to this situation:

Bergrin is now located at the ADX in Colorado

Vicky Gallas said...

Yes, at the time you were commenting, I was updating the post. Inmate locator still showed him in Terre Haute, Indiana yesterday and I was contacted privately with the update this morning.

Crazy as hell. Paul Bergrin is completely harmless.

ADX Colorado is an aggressive prison where inmates are aggressively locked up like
animals. Paul Bergrin is not a criminal like many at ADX Colorado, high profile
criminals. It seems that they wanted him to get there before Presidential elections
to make sure he could not prepare his retrial and defend his case and prove his
innocence. What a corrupted country is ours, so corrupted to the eyes of the
whole world. These coming elections must bring a change to our country and clean
up corrupted Washington as well as our corrupted Justice system.

Anonymous said...

Paul Bergrin is a kind-hearted and the sweetest guy there is in this planet. He has proven this to many persons that know him well. His place is definitively not at the
ADX Colorado with the Boston Bomber. What is Washington and the BOP trying to prove
again. NO PAUL BERGRIN IS NOT A CRIMINAL OF ANY SORT, HE DESERVES AND ALWAYS WILL
DESERVE A FAIR TRIAL AND LIBERTY. SO, STOP BEING CORRUPTED WASHINGTON AND CORRUPTED
BOP AND A CORRUPTED JUSTICE SYSTEM. Through these last elections the whole world
now knows how corrupted our country truly is. WE NEED A SERIOUS CHANGE IN OUR
GOVERNMENT THAT MUST BECOME HONEST TOWARDS THE NATION AND THE WORLD.GOD BLESS
MR. PAUL BERGRIN IN HIS RETRIAL, HOPING THIS TIME IT WILL NOT BE CORRUPTED LIKE
THE PREVIOUS TRIAL.

Anonymous said...

God will be our judge

Anonymous said...

All they are doing is to stop Mr. Bergrin from defending himself and go to retrial.
He should be allowed these rights in a normal democratic country but it is not the case in the US. The manipulation in the Paul Bergrin case is beyond all human rights a normal citizen would have. Our politic in the US is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere and applying unsuitable remedies.

Our country really won the gold medal in this case as far as applying unsuitable
remedies unless Justice finally prevails with the truth beyond perjuries.

mary ann demmy said...

Rest assured this rigged system will end now with Trump as president. U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch with all her crooked dealings will be out. Remember she had to sign off on Bergrin's transfer. Same holds true for the crooked U.S. Attorney office in Newark, New Jersey.

Vicky Gallas said...

Ah yes, EXCEPT that Chris Christie is leading the transition team and we all know how loyal Trump is to his faithful cohorts.

For the record, I consider Trump to be a misogynistic bigot, though he's definitely not alone in the US and has somewhere between 25 and 50+ percent of the population here as company. I couldn't vote for him.

However, I also couldn't vote for the corrupt and entrenched Clinton. She's far out of touch with reality, but guessing she just got her jolt back. Also guessing that all her deals will now fall through and that's a good thing. Adios to the neocon warmonger.

While I'm a registered Democrat and worked on the Kerry campaign in 2004 and the Obama campaign in 2008,the DNC lost me on this one; their mistake, which I hear their busy blaming third party candidates and voters right now. I voted my conscience. I voted for Jill Stein.

Actually, I think the election has the best possible outcome. I'm happy with it.

mary ann demmy said...

No sweat on Chris Christie !! He will be there but not in a cabinet position that has to have senate confirmation. Rudy Guiliani will be the new Attorney General.

I personally often question is there anybody in Pauls friends that are truly helping
him financially to overcome his sufferings and to survive by all means in these
shit holes where they place him. I am sure he needs moral and financial help.
He needs to pay for everything in there, papers, stamps, anything in there does
cost a lot, just have a look at that commissary list, a rip off for a poor prisoner.
And of course, he has no choice but to survive and continue on fighting. Then on
top of all, hardly no medical or dental care. This is pure misery, getting old
like this is, nothing but pure sufferings. Poor Mr Bergrin, being innocent is not
enough, he has to suffer for these other cowards. God, please deliver this innocent
man and bring him peace and love with his family.

I wanted to comment on this previously but wanted to wait till after this election, however that whole team that put paul away all going to be promoted to some better position starting with Christie remember he spearheaded that case against curry, baskerville, and paul it all starts with him the powers that be sent chris now he has even more influence on MR BERGRIN CASE AND HIS LIFE BEHIND BARS he was there for trump victory speach so was the rest of the criminals he will be attorney general or Giuliani that will not be good news for anyone involved in this case.moreover as to the last comment you can have all the financial support in the world once you get in crosshairs with the Fed's ballgame, mrs vicky gallas hit a HOMERUN with her attorney and jury also they place him in FLORENCE AD MAX once they send you there that's it for you and your case feel bad for paul and they say for GOD AND COUNTRY i cant tell.

Vicky Gallas said...

I completely agree that the election results are not good for Paul Bergrin, William Baskerville, Rakeem Baskerville or Hakeem Curry. Not even sure what to say to William and haven't reached out because of the whole pre-election crap and then the results.

Not sure what Mary Ann is thinking and wish she would explain how it could possibly be good for Paul. I don't see anything good coming.

PRESIDENT TRUMP CLAIMS THAT HE WILL FIGHT CORRUPTION IN EVERY WAY, LETS SEE WHAT HE
WILL DO NOW IN THIS PAUL BERGRIN CASE. IF HE ALLOWS ALL THIS TO HAPPEN, IT PROVES
HE DOES NOT RESPECT HIS PROMISES DURING ELECTIONS AND LEAVES A CORRUPTED SYSTEM IN
PLACE. PERSONALLY, I HAVE HOPE IN A BETTER USA AND THE FACT THAT SOME OF THESE GUYS
LIKE CHRIS CHRISTIE FINALLY CHANGE THEIR ATTITUDE AND UNDERSTAND THAT BREAKING UP
AMERICAN FAMILIES AND AMERICAN CITIZENS LIKE THIS DOES NOT MAKE OUR COUNTRY BETTER
TO THE EYES OF THE REST OF THE WORLD. I HOPE ALWAYS FOR THE TRUTH AND LOVE AND
RESPECT AMONG HUMANS. Maybe, I am like mother Theresa, but love does not make me

What strategy do you propose to his attorney in these circumstances.

Anonymous said...

Is Chris Christie that popular in New Jersey, I don't think so from all I read and
all I hear. So, will he truly want to harm Paul in his retrial.
Real interested in hearing what strategy Pauls attorneys can use.

Vicky Gallas said...

@the last Anonymous -

On strategies:

Paul only has one attorney at this point in time and that would be Larry Lustberg of Gibbons. I don't pretend to know how to offer advice on strategy to Mr. Lustberg. To even contact him concerning this case would place him in danger as he had to sign a SAMs agreement to continue on the rule 33 case, so I won't reach out to him.

I do have ideas, but I have no real idea of Mr. Lustberg's perimeters. Last I heard he was attempting to establish contact with Paul since the move to ADX Florence. So,depending on his rules and perimeters...

File a civil rights suit. Paul should never have been designated to the CMU in Terre Haute, Indiana and most definitely not to ADX Florence.

Start filing FOIA demands. I have a lengthy list of names and subjects to get that going.

Use the aforementioned to demand answers from BOP and discover the trail of corruption that put Paul where he is today.

Gut this case by doing a comparison of witness testimony in this case, the William Baskerville case, the Rakeem Baskerville case, and the Hakeem Curry case to start with. Once that's completed, I have a list of testimony on several other cases that should be added to the comparison. Use this to discover each and every discrepancy.

That's a start on my strategy list. I'll need to respond tomorrow in reference to Chris Christie as I must tend to personal obligations. I'll add to the strategies list tomorrow as well.

Yes, good news Vicky. Now we as Americans can we truly accept the injustice going
on actually in the Paul Bergrin case, I mean by sending him to ADX Florence so
that he cannot defend his case and prepare his retrial and motion 2255. No, we are
allowed to voice our concerns against this corrupted Justice system, we should be now
once more in a democracy that permits us to express our ideas and opinions, we have
a new President that is open to hear us. So hear us President Trump, please correct
the justice system of our country, make sure that the truth prevails for innocent
men and women in our prisons, fight corruption for the American population. WE TRUST
YOU AND COUNT ON YOU!
Get Mr. Bergrin out of ADX and allow him to defend his case, time is of the essence.

@the Anonymous asking about Chris Christie:

I published a post back in July of 2015, titled, "Exposing Tyrants" = I had asked Paul about Christie and that was his response. Here it is:

That fat pig Chris Christie was the catalyst behind my case. No one realizes that he was not qualified to be NJ US Attorney. He had no experience and his credentials were deminimis. There were so many qualified individuals but he was chosen because he could be bought by Bush and Ashcroft and was dirty. In exchange for him receiving the position, he agreed to destroy me, eviscerate my credibility about Abu Ghraib, Objective Iron Triangle and the Parker case and the truth I told about the White Houses involvement, knowledge and being the proponent of torture and violating international law; while scapegoating young soldiers incapable of defending themselves against these tyrants. I exposed all that.

Christie rewarded Ashcroft a 40 million dollar no bid no compete contract for New Jersey legal work. This is a Missouri ex Governor and Missouri Lawyer. All the great lawyers in New Jersey and NY and just coincidentally, the man who got Christie the US Attorney position gets a 40 million dollar contract.

I cannot believe this is not being publicized.

I heard ABC has put my Abu Ghraib videos on YOU TUBE, especially when I prevented Bush from destroying it and made it a crime scene.

END of POST

@Anonymous who wants to know about Christie connection to Paul Bergrin:

From his Bio:

"Christie served as the Chief Federal Law Enforcement Officer in New Jersey from January 17, 2002, to December 1, 2008. His office included 137 attorneys, with offices in Newark, Trenton, and Camden. Christie also served on the 17-member Advisory Committee of U.S. Attorneys for Attorneys General John Ashcroft and Alberto Gonzales."

So think about those dates for a moment. Paul was a practicing defense attorney in NJ and NY at that time following his isolation (for truthfully testifying on behalf of a detective - the testimony went against the US Attorney's Office in NJ agenda) in the US Attorney's Office and eventual resignation. So consider all of the cases wherein Paul interacted with that office. One such case was the William Baskerville prosecution - the USAO used any trick they could to get rid of him as Baskerville's attorney, and they succeeded as he was removed from the case. Paul was a star, whether working for the government or in defense, he knew a courtroom like the back of his hand. No one wants to go up against a star.

Now consider the military connection during those dates. There was the Abu Ghraib case and Paul defended Sgt Javal Davis. (torture was sanctioned by Bush administration officials etc... i.e. it is what the government wanted) Read more on the actual case all over the internet. And then came the Operation Iron Triangle case. Paul represented Corey Clagett. Read more here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Iron_Triangle

The defense Paul was working on during his numerous trips to Iraq was that the soldiers were ordered to kill all military age males. Oh and Paul worked Pro Bono on the case. During the case Paul was attacked by NY officials and charged in relation to the Jason Itzler (New York Confidential) prosecution. Paul was Itzler's attorney and not much more - I don't doubt he stopped by that loft now and again, but who gives a crap? Not me. But here Paul was back in their faces with the 'government told me to do it' defense on behalf of Clagett and the other soldiers charged. Paul intended to call top Bush administration officials to testify, like Rumsfeld for one example. Read Paul's statement here titled, Maximum Hypocrisy" -

http://paulbergrin.info/

Next thing Paul knew, he was being prosecuted in NY state case and unable to defend Corey Clagett. Now how does that happen and who was connected? Cover-ups are eventually uncovered, but will Paul live until that day? Plenty of people hope not. Paul has been effectively silenced and denied his right to due process.

Anonymous said...

Paul must not be denied his right to due process. Many times you can read in the US
such injustices, other modern democracies fight for their rights, then why does
this happen so often in the US. It is our time to fight and change this Nazi hypocritical system. Maybe we do need a revolution to change it.
Thank you Vicky, we now know exactly how corrupted Chris Christie is. President
Trump should not be in contact with any corrupted individual and definitively
not with this guy. I doubt this one will ever go to confession and pay for his
mistakes but logically he should.

Anonymous said...

I QUESTION, IS THERE ONE THING IN THE CASE OF PAUL BERGRIN THAT DOES NOT SOUND LIKE
PURE CORRUPTION, IS THERE ONE HONEST MANEUVER THAT HAS BEEN DONE BY THE GOVERNMENT.
THE ANSWER IS ABSOLUTELY NO. THIS IS OUR COUNTRY ALL MADE IN USA NOTHING BUT
CORRUPTION. DEPLORABLE!

Vicky Gallas said...

@Anonymous who asked about the Chris Christie connection...

I must add that I asked Paul about Christie on July 27, 2015 and published his response in that post, "Exposing Tyrants". On August 10, 2015, I received an email from BOP stating that I could no longer communicate with Paul - see the post, "Someone is Mad".

Consider that all Paul and I ever discussed was his case, and usually just research and discovery in the case, I do not view this as a coincidence. In my opinion, a tyrant blew a fuse. That tyrant had and still has a plan to continue up that ladder and really wanted a run for POTUS. Well, Paul sure can't say anything about him anymore, can he?

Anonymous said...

Totally agree, when one reads all this, you sincerely believe that Chris Christie
and his powerful friends have a lot to do with Mr Bergrins actual situation, this
plausibility sounds right. They have influenced and send him to ADX Florence before these elections take place, so that no one gets to find out about their past
actions. And worse, if that is the case, they would be the corrupted NJ guys.
Hope the judges don't fall into that trap anymore and bring out the truth nothing
but the truth. President Trump promised he would fight corruption and that is why
many elected him.

maryann demmy said...

A lot of comments and time spent on Chris Christie and it is absolutely unnecessary. If you had been keeping up with the news over the past year you would know this. So here it is in a nutshell. Before Trump was nominated, all the talk was that he would appoint Chris Christie as his running mate. However, pay back is a bitch. Trump's three adult children played a significant role in his campaign. His daughter Ivanka is married to Jared Kushner. You would say so what does that have to do with anything. Well, back in 2008 when Christie was New Jersey Attorney General he prosecuted Jared Kushner's father for some tax evasion matter and Mr. Kushner was sent to federal prison for 3 years. Obviously there's bad blood now between Christie and Mr. Kushner's son who is now part of the Trump family. The result: Christie is passed over for the running mate spot and Pence is chosen. Now we have reached October and the tape from Access Hollywood appears depicting Trump as less than desirable. Christie suddenly disappears and offers no support for Trump. Trump does not take kindly to being slighted. The result? After he won the election it only took 3 days for him to demote Christie from his head of the transition team. Of course along with all this baggage is the Bridgegate scandal. As I said before, Christie is out of the picture for any meaningful job in Trump's administration.

Now, closer to home is the New Jersey Attorney General spot. Paul Fishman, the current attorney general, who prosecuted Paul Bergrin is a democrat and he will be leaving office. This should be good news when it comes to a retrial for Paul. The current head of the Bureau of Prisons, Thomas Keaton, is in an acting position and he will be replaced. There will be quite a shakeup at the Department of Justice under Rudy Guilliani and this will benefit Paul in terms of getting out of the supermax.

You notice Im not saying Paul is home free. What I am saying is that he will get out of the supermax and his retrial will be handled fairly once the NJ attorney general's office gets cleaned up.

Vicky Gallas said...

Interesting Mary Ann. I was unaware of most of that, but mainly because none of it is in the news, at least not the important parts. It changed from Christie leading the transition team to he's been given a token position and Pence is leading the team all within an hour a couple of days ago when I posted that he was out. My source was the New York Times, so not some random news site.

Wondering why this wasn't in the news a week ago. No matter - here's to wishing Fishman et al. are out soon, especially including John Gay.

I'm going to guess that Fishman and the rest of them are using the power they have left by attempting to murder Paul so he's silenced forever before they're out.

Thank you for great news!

Vicky Gallas said...

@Mary Ann

I neglected to add that I don't view comments on Christie or anyone else Trump chooses to be unnecessary. It's all relevant. Personally, I don't believe that anyone on team Trump will do a damn thing for Paul. These people think we should all be arrested for nothing much or shot dead by a cop. And to imagine Giuliani as US AG makes Ashcroft sound like a breath of fresh air.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-watch/wp/2016/11/14/the-terrifying-prospect-of-an-attorney-general-giuliani/

Ah well, he could only do so much before the people revolt. Nevertheless, I don't see him or any other Trump potentials seeking justice for the maliciously prosecuted and wrongfully convicted of America.

This will be back to Bush era civil rights violations on a much wider scale. I know because I was an early victim. Not going to be a victim this round.

As I said before, Chris Christie is down the drain as far as a good job in Trump's administration. However, do not count your chickens before they hatch when it comes to Rudy Giuliani. He most definitely will be there and in a top spot !! The attorney general spot could not have gone to a better person than Jeff Sessions. His whole act is on immigration policies and when he was attorney general of Alabama he had what we could say was a segregationist tone to him. He will not tolerate the crap that has been happening under the last 2, namely, Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch. Look for Ted Cruz to get a supreme court nomination in January

I have so much to say, but little time to say it thanks to the idiots in private health care in my area. (a reference to Cape Canaveral hospital, Solaris Rehab, and Dr Ian Day). Having stated that much, I will go ahead and add that thanks to the wonderful care from the VA (Viera Outpatient and Orlando Home Primary Care mobile unit) my mom is still alive and content, even though she can no longer walk. I intend to make a statement with the details on my other blog in the next week or two as a plea to Trump NOT to privatize the VA. So on to the topic of the month...

@Mary Ann Demmy -

Everything I know about Giuliani is from his past. He's one scary dude, and not much scares me anymore. He loves cops who kill. He's got his hands in deep pockets all over the planet. He's the definition of corruption for reasons stated, though he seems to be beyond prosecution for his many crimes against the people. Ironic since he gets his kicks locking-up others who have done far less.

As for Sessions, are you joking? He's the problem with his lifelong Drug War and his anti-cannabis stand. Feel free to tell him that I don't give a rat's ass whether he considers me a "good person" or not; I'll consume weed whenever I f'ing feel like doing so. According to the statements I've seen quoted from past, he's a POS racist from Alabama; probably plenty more like him still alive there, so he's not alone. He's got to be the worst choice on earth for US AG or any other position of trust. Giuliani sounds better, and he's one scary dude as stated already.

My new hero is Jared Kushner. I'm sorry he isn't going to be the next POTUS.

When Obama was in his first year he brought a fresh approach to the White House and government in general. After year one they ruined him and now he's as old as the rest of them. In a sense that's a reference to age, but not really. We need younger, more intelligent people in such high positions of public trust, and here's where age enters the picture:

Why are we stuck with all of these leftovers from the reefer madness era and bigots from the 50s, 60s and 70s? Jared Kushner would have made a much better candidate for any of their upcoming positions. I'm sure there are plenty more citizens who view the world as Kushner does.

No matter because if Sessions is appointed, it will hasten the revolution. For any real change in this country there must be a revolution. When the people have had enough it will abruptly commence without warning. I hope to be alive on that day, and the way everything looks right now, I will be.

Anonymous said...

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH MARY ANN DEMMY, THIS REVOLUTION MUST START NOW WITH A YOUNGER
GENERATION, JARED KUSHNER STANDS UP AND THE COUNTRY NEEDS PERSONS LIKE HIM.
THESE OLDER MEN MUST LEARN TO LISTEN TO THE NEEDS OF THE GENERATIONS TO COME AND
HELP THE TRANSITION OF POWER TO THE YOUNGER MEN INSTEAD OF SHOWING OFF THEIR
MACHISM AND CORRUPTION.

Vicky Gallas said...

Umm, you're agreeing with me on the first part concerning Jared Kushner. No clue about the rest of your statement, but none of it agrees with Mary Ann Demmy's statement.

Vicky Gallas said...

@Mary Ann Demmy -

If you want to learn more about Sessions, this article is interesting. The people cannot allow Sessions to be the next US AG!

"His record is the record of a classic Southern conservative, and I've never known him to be otherwise," Jackson told me. "On the edge of the Black Belt was where people with plantations had homes. He was part of the plantation gentry."

THANKS POINT PROVEN TRUE FACTS...

mary ann demmy said...

Loretta Lynch will be leaving office on January 20th when the new cabinet members are sworn in. DO MY HOMEWORK! What a dumb statement. If you were one to keep up on current events you would know that Jeff Sessions was always in the picture for a good cabinet post going back to 2015 when Trump (who by the way I voted for) first started his campaign. True, he cannot personally do anything for Paul but neither can anyone else Trump would choose. That comes from the local New Jersey attorney general's office and will when they get rid of the scum that's in there now. To say "the people cannot allow Sessions to be the next US AG" is totally assinine. The people have no choice in the matter. The president-elect picks his cabinet and the SENATE confirms it. Luckily the senate majority is republican and it only takes 50 votes for confirmation and he will slide through confirmation.

All of a sudden people are on the bandwagon for Jared Kushner. A week ago when I posted something about him, no one knew he existed. Folks, he's not running for anything! He's merely Trump's son-in-law and put a damper in any meaningful appointment for Chris Christie because of Christie's prosecution of his father 10 years ago.

True, all the Trump picks thus far are at a median age of 65. With that age comes wisdom.

Vicky Gallas said...

@Mary Ann -

I do not recall you mentioning Kushner, but I need to reread all comments to know for sure. I learned of Kushner after reading news that Christie was out. I then researched who Jared Kushner is, the story concerning his father's malicious prosecution, and his general background. At that point I decided I really like the guy. So,it's not a "bandwagon" and I believe one other commenter here mentioned his name in response to me.

At any rate, if a bandwagon jump is forming elsewhere and many feel as I do, that's great; the more the merrier.

When a person suffers through a wrongful and malicious prosecution on as serious charges as I dealt with it's not unusual to flock to others who understand the impact on life and future. While I'd love to forget about what was done to me and the 2 week circus of a trial, the agents with the State of Florida taught me that this is not possible. In my case they're sore losers.

Federal cases are rarely won by defendants in trial, but state cases can be much easier. In my case the state listed over 40 witnesses that really witnessed nothing whatsoever, so investigation and discovery processes were more involved than with most cases. However, in Florida courts the defendant is entitled to discovery and even to depose any of the listed witnesses, which was key in my case. It's much easier to catch all the lies when you have the state's discovery (recordings, statements etc...), the depositions and then the trial testimony. I composed the deposition questions for anyone my attorney deposed because by that point, I knew each witness listed (except for one I'd never heard of who claimed to know me) all too well. Of course my questions were sometimes too intrusive and my wonderful attorney deviated from the notes when necessary.

Not so sure I could have fought a federal case. As we know from Paul's case, the feds hide the discovery, withhold Brady material, call last second witnesses, don't allow the defense to depose government witnesses and much more.

Wait. Why am I telling you any of this? You already know how prosecutors operate in general on the state and federal levels.

I always appreciate your input here and ideas on Paul's situation. BUT we will need to agree to disagree on Sessions as I am 100% with the last Anonymous commenter.

Vicky, it was on this blog on November 14th and you responded by thanking me for the info and mentioning that you were unaware of most of the info.

Vicky Gallas said...

Mary Ann,

You're absolutely correct. I'd never heard the name until you mentioned in relation to the Christie situation. I will add that I think Christie was out because of Bridgegate - it's fresh in the news - and not as a result of Jared Kushner's issue with him. I still identity with Kushner though.

I've spent much of my day attempting to get my mom to take a pill that she absolutely must take. She's refusing all liquids, super stubborn, so can't hide it in anything. I am usually able to deal with her, but I am thinking that advanced stage Alzheimers is beyond my skillset. Problem is that in any facility they ignore and neglect her. At my wit's end so sorry for the misstatement.

Vicky Gallas said...

Oh and what I should have said is that at any facility they ignore, neglect and abuse her AND then have the audacity to pad Medicare billing. You wouldn't believe it unless you saw it for yourself. They almost succeeded in killing her and did leave her unable to walk, because 10 hours in a wheelchair in the hallway will cause blood clots, and collect major $$s from Medicare with completely unnecessary tests and then treatments based on unsubstantiated results while actually starving her. She's small to begin with, but lost 10 lbs in 14 days at one rehab facility.

Why aren't operations like the aforementioned prosecuted? Why aren't the people in hospitals, facilities etc... prosecuted for absolutely provable Medicare bill padding? Instead we get created cases wherein any possible crime was minor and prosecutions are beyond over the top.

The entire system is broken.

Vicky, you really have your hands full with your Mom and should be commended for keeping her at home. I agree wholeheartedly about the medical system and I don't think it will be fixed anytime soon. Was sitting here thinking how to give someone a pill if they were totally opposed to it and can't come up with any feasible way.

I do like Kushner, no reason not to. I do think that Trump wants to keep the peace with his family and that's why he didn't choose Christie as his running mate, plus the Bridgegate issue.

On Sessions, its real simple. He is not one that will take a phone call from some jackass at the department of justice and sign off on transferring an inmate as a favor. This is what Loretta Lynch did to get Paul transferred to the supermax. It was just like her meeting Bill Clinton on a plane on the tarmac and lo and behold the next day the director of the FBI announced there would be no charges for Hillary regarding the emails. They are all in cahoots with each other starting with the local attorney general's office who then contacts the bureau of prisons which is within the department of justice and then it hits the US attorney general's desk. Of course in the case of Hillary it all backfired and Trump was elected. I don't think Sessions can be bought and that's why I like him. Remember back in early 2015 when that retired FBI guy told me he could get Paul transferred? They are all full of crap !!!

I posted that even though it's very outdated to show anyone who reads this blog that there is something very wrong with the picture here! "wiretapped" conversations not safeguarded?! Really! So with carelessness, anything is possible! Like the carelessness of Special agents mishandling their informants, the DOJ signing off on BS measures, the AUSA's working the "witnesses" and coaching them on what to say, and finally there's the plea deals made through the arresting officers and the states atty's ! (mix and match titles to fit the FEDERAL courts system) When will people finally see how this so-called "justice" system works?
I guess people turn a blind eye until they are in a position similar to Paul's.

@Mary Ann -

Yes, it's weird. For years it was like dealing with a child, but after the hospital / rehab / hospital / different rehab / ER thing that went on from late June through early August, it's an entirely different ballgame. The previous 6 years were mostly easy compared to this. Thing is, if I crush pills and put them in her food it ruins the specific food item forever - there's a few things she now refuses because I did that. When she clamps her mouth closed, that's it - she's not taking a pill or anything else.

There's no solution that I'm aware of or I confess I would have gone for it with my mom. I'm dying to move and don't like living in this area at all.

Okay, that's another way to view Sessions that I never considered. You're right about Loretta Lynch and the crowd currently in power and of course Hillary. That's why I couldn't vote for Clinton. But Sessions is also the original drug war warrior - as if there aren't already far too many drug defendants in the US. Think about Duterte from the Philippines running around killing anyone who has anything to do with drugs. Well, the US War on Drugs created that monster and many more. Far too much fallout they ignore with the failure of a War on Drugs. Unless Sessions changed, he's one of the worst in the country.

I do not intend to knock Trump or sign petitions that are circulating, but I also have never trusted big business and he's right there with the rest of them. Often important decisions just can't be based on financial considerations or filling the bank account. We shall see, right?

Yeah, good old Bob. I never did speak with him. I think his intentions were good, but the BOP director couldn't help him and resigned.

Ahh, sorry for my response then. I thought it was supposed to be informative. lol

I do believe that more people are waking up every day, but there's still plenty of naive or unaware in the US. Funny how people in other countries often view the US criminal justice system for exactly what it is, but people living here don't see it until it happens to them or their loved ones. Actually not funny at all.

I am a foreigner, I don't live in the US and I am not blinded by the corruption
in the US Justice system. I firmly believe what they have done to Major Paul
W. Bergrin is a crime using their power to bring someone to death without legal
defense and committing perjuries. They have killed him.
THERE IS NO DOUBT ABOUT THAT. AND AS VICKY SAYS THERE IS NOTHING FUNNY ABOUT
ALL THIS, IT IS VERY SERIOUS AND UNBELIEVABLE FOR A COUNTRY LIKE THE US.YET
IT IS WHAT HAPPENED.

If you know the actions of Fidel Castro during his life, you should know that he
was a traitor, he turned his back on many of his LOYAL friends for POWER and MONEY.
It may sound stupid to you but it is what is happening with Paul Bergrin. They also
are killing him for power and money. Truly hope that Judge Linares sees through
all this as he is from Cuba and knows what Injustice represents. Certain humans
don't deserve what life brings to them, they suffer for no valuable reasons. God
please bring Justice in the case of Major Paul W. Bergrin before it gets too late
and before he dies in prison. Please hear our prayers!

I always appreciate your wishes and support for Paul Bergrin, but you clearly know nothing whatsoever about Fidel Castro or the Kennedy administration. This is an area of expertise for me. It's early and I have little time right now, but later I'll offer recommended reading on the subject so that you may enlighten yourself. In the meantime, start with this short article:

How Fidel Outlived His U.S. Government Assassins

http://tdig.it/2fjTjcC

May Fidel Castro Rest in Peace and know in his heart that he changed the world for the better.

Opinions may differ, but what I have read is that he imprisoned many of his loyal
friends until they died in prison because he did not want the Cubans to be free
in their every they life. They had to be communist and poor, or die. The Cubans have largely suffered because of Fidel Castro, too much.

My statements are based on years of collecting documents, my family background, and graduate research.

So while your statement is merely opinion based, mine is research based. Huge difference dear.

Vicky Gallas said...

Here is the most informative read I've come across this morning:

Reflections on the Death of Fidel

http://tdig.it/2grTAWT

"Geography is fate. It was both Castro’s curse as well as his blessing that the United States was so near. It was easy to banish his opposition and send it packing across the Florida Straits. Or, to put it another way, it is unlikely that, after Castro’s demise, unmarked mass graves will be found filled with the remains of opponents who had been made to disappear. Cuba is not Chile under Pinochet or Argentina under the generals. Or Iraq under Saddam Hussein. Or Russia under Stalin. Those of his critics who have inflated their rhetoric to the Heights of Hyperbole do a disservice to actually understanding the more complicated reality and character of the revolt Castro mounted and the revolution he made."

Anonymous said...

Fidel Castro did enrich himself very much during his dictatorship. His own daughter confirmed at several occasions that the Cubans ignored all about the huge amounts of money he had accumulated in personal Swiss bank accounts. So it all comes back to Power and money as far as I am concerned. I respect your opinion on all this.

Vicky Gallas said...

You won't be posting anymore of your anti-Castro off topic drivel here, so stop trying. I thought I was clear that nothing I have stated is mere opinion.

You are like so many other idiots on the Internet - you read a newspaper article here and there and think you know something.

You are not qualified to debate me on the topic you chose. Case closed.

Vicky Gallas said...

Before we conclude the discussion, I feel it necessary to inform you that you're taking the side of Paul Bergrin's persecutors and oppressors.

I think that you only support Paul due to your personal interest in him as you otherwise have no understanding of the case or his current situation. You seem to believe that he was simply transported to another prison in another state, which couldn't be further from the reality.

Additionally, you may win a friend in the judge with your anti-Castro ramblings, but that's as far as it will get.

Have you ever heard of Assata Shakur? The US and the State of New Jersey have a blood bounty on her for $2 million. This is how they operate in NJ.

Clearly you didn't bother to read the linked articles posted earlier. If you actually decide to learn something instead of spouting nonsense on a daily basis, you could also pickup some books and start with an understanding of the Assata Shakur case:

I was reflecting on my own interest in Fidel Castro and found the well researched book by Tad Szulc - "Fidel: A Critical Portrait" - in a Rubbermaid container. It's the first edition hard cover and I read it back in 1994, in a beach house I leased for a year. It's a hefty book, around 700 pages, but I read it in a couple of days. It's one of those 'can't put it down' books. This book piqued my interest in Fidel forever.

There was so much more to the man than any of those cheering his death or blaming him for what the US does on a normal day dare to acknowledge.

I get angry when someone has the audacity to reduce his life to a sentence that parrots the US Cold War propaganda machine.

If they wish to speak with such hyperbolic rhetoric here they shall be required to denounce the equally horrific acts of their own leaders and representatives in their name first.

What is that verse from the Bible? Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone...

Somehow I missed responding to your comment here. "He enriched himself..." Are you aware of how ridiculous that sounds? Who doesn't enrich themselves, or at least try while in a similar powerful position?

Not saying he was perfect, but no one around here has any business knocking him. And if you are the same Anonymous that started all of this with the absurd denigration of the man on the day he dies, well, I know that you enrich yourself too. :-)

I cant believe that Paul -- I guy that was very kind to me and very civilized and spiritual would be in ADX ! Its insane !! I am wishing him the best of luck and spirit ... They are burring him alive ... Him in a USP is insane let alone super max. He should be in a camp.

Anonymous said...

I think Paul is in H-Unit in ADX. Its where they put the SAM's cases. There is no way to get into the step down program or general population (which is all the same living conditions). One needs to go through the several phases to get out. In short he is in the worst of the worst and will be there for no less than 5 years unless there is some serious legal action in his favour.

The good news is that he is really strong, on the inside and in the inside, and will be OK. He does NEED all the help he can get....

Do what you can.

Thank you for posting. You know more than anyone I have spoken with yet. I have been reading documents in numerous cases Sal Magluta filed against BOP and ADX Florence staff and I'm learning more about the facility, though Magluta doesn't now and has never had a SAMs designation so no information on this in docs.

I haven't been in touch with Paul since shortly after his arrival at the CMU in Terre Haute, Indiana, but must say that he sounds totally distressed in his letters to the court from ADX Florence. He also sounds drugged, like his mind is not at all clear and he's unable to write in a left to right line at all - the text runs down the page. All of this, and the 20 day delay on his legal mail in Colorado, seriously concern me.

The main problem is that the government manages to scare away attorneys able and willing to help Paul in this case, and attempts (with information gathering, 302s, and subpoenas) to prosecute any who are actually helpful.

I don't know how to help except to keep the truth out there for the public to read. I do this mainly with the hope that someone able to help Paul Bergrin will step up to the plate and do so. I admit that I'm losing faith with that goal. The great majority of the population believes the absurd government version of events in this case, even when confronted with documents showing allegations and detals to be false.

Thank you for posting.

RE: LAST ADX POST

Your an amazing person and a true friend to Paul. You need to keep up the incredible fight that you've been doing -- Its normal to be tired but God willing you will catch a break. The marathon is long but you are helping very much and you will be praised in heaven.

There is some in-depth reading on ADX here: https://www.amnestyusa.org/sites/default/files/amr510402014en.pdf . Don't worry to much about his strength. I've seen him inside, as well as tens of thousands of others, and I'm certain of who breaks etc... He's rock solid and might be having a moment of challenge but he's cool...

The first battle will be getting the Justice Department to remove his SAM's status. Next, H-unit is run by the FBI, not the BOP, so getting him out of H-unit, the fight is not with BOP, its all AG and FBI. Once off SAMS and out of H-unit, its about getting through the 3 phases of step down (1 year each) which can be expedited.

ADX is like the SHU in regular joints but you are alone, all the time, but you have a TV. In H-unit, where Paul is, he cant get commissary-which is an issue for nutrition's sake. Otherwise, his spirituality and physical regime (the man trains), will keep him very strong and tenacious.

He needs help from absolutely everyone and anyone .... He can't be buried out there, people need to focus on the Attorney General (in a kind and peaceful way) to get of SAMS (as the case is beyond bull shit).

Than you for being such an awesome human being and lets all do everything we can!

Thank you for your kind words and thoughtful comments. I read the Amnesty International link in its entirety. To me a main issue is that the DOJ, the BOP, the FBI, and the SCOTUS are all fully aware of the damage caused by isolation, yet they planned an entire prison complex around it. This tells me that not only do they not care about the damage they've done to so many men in their care, but they planned (or conspired) to permanently damage these people. The US prison system used to be better than this, at least at the federal level, and inmates were treated humanely. I say that, but I had never heard of ADX Florence until perhaps 2003, when it was opened in 1994, so I may not be as aware of government atrocities as I believe I am. For all I know they've probably been treating people like this for 50 years.

I will tell you what I've been reading - complaints and various documents in the Salvador Magluta filings against staff at ADX Florence. I think that if you want to know what's really going on, you must hear the victim accounts. I do plan to post on it in the near future and have more reading in Magluta's numerous filings as well as a few names to research from the Amnesty link, so I don't want to prematurely attack them, but - and this is a big BUT, some of the stuff that's transpired with Magluta is definitely indictment worthy. To hell with civil suits, these people should be indicted for medical neglect of a prisoner, attempted murder in retaliation, you name it. Left me thinking that they may have aliens posing as dentists, doctors, nurses etc... in ADX Florence. Are these inhuman things ordered to commit these criminal acts by the DOJ and the FBI, or is this a BOP decision to abuse and neglect a prisoner to the point of near death?

I won't be able to help by being kind or peaceful to the dirtbags I've read about or the scum that created the false case and prosecuted Paul Bergrin. These people could roll over and play dumb all day every day, but they can't believe what they say anymore than the Bush administration believed they were invading Iraq because Saddam had WMD. I consider them criminal, but not stupid. Besides, Larry is nice enough for all of us and one of the lying criminals even works in his office now. Nice has not helped Paul, clearly. It's more like me to start publishing a bunch of inmate accounts about the real ADX Florence.

There are different people who want to help Paul that could somehow approach AG Sessions. I haven't changed my views about him and couldn't write anything pretending that I have.

As a matter of fact, I expect the country to descend into chaos at some point in my lifetime, and when it happens, I'll just sit back and laugh.

I do thank you for the kind words.

Vicky
